Well, for about 15 years I’ve had an unhealthy love of American classics. I’ve even been toying with the idea of subscribing to the American Classics magazine. However, it’s not until today where I felt I genuinely needed an American Classic. Utterly unusable, unreliable and a financial nightmare, but holy mary this car needs to be bought already. I’m thinking of finances.
Possibly the best muscle car ever made

Unusable sure, but they’re not unreliable. They’ve got a big V8, carbs and that’s about it — not much to go wrong. You can get just about every part new for the damn things these days, including chassis and sheetmetal!
Grab a catalogue from someone like Year One and be amazed. I say buy it. :)
How about a 2008 Nissan GTR? 40 years is way too old. Also a 67′ Camaro wont be as good in the ring.
A good pal of mine recently lent me the entire series of ‘Overhaulin” on DVD-R.
I can safely say this era of motoring fills me with such giddyness and boyhood delight,
There’s just something about restored muscle cars, some people get it, some people don’t (and I really can’t understand these type, must be some kind of missing DNA).
How cool is Chip Foose?
And yeah, it’d have to be a Camaro.
