Robot and Frank

Just how awesome is this film?

A low-key movie set in a not too distant future, robots are part of every day society, from antiquated library assistants to modern home care counterparts. When Frank is plagued by familiar issues surrounding senility, his son buys him a robot to assist him in his daily duties.

Reluctant at first, he warms to the company not least because it allows him to kickstart his old career as a jewel thief.

Some touching moments that allow us to explore surprisingly warm moments of human endearments, with the robot creating a that typically touching relationship between child and parent. Who is who, though, is not apparent.
