Essen Motorshow, in Germany, is predominantly about the after market tuning scene, so you can imagine it attracts a specific crowd. Add to this the lack of a no-smoking rule (which I believe has changed now) and you’ve got quite an uncomfortable environment. There were some great exhibits there that you would not find in the UK, so it’s worth a visit if you’re looking for something unique.
