So after a few weeks of heated debate, the Alpina is gone.

It was featured on a recent PistonHeads homepage article and that created a lot of buzz. It was a very interesting thread that followed as despite the few closet anoraks who always think they know everything, there was a lot of excellent information.

Regardless, the recent burglary we had meant the car had to go, even though it’s looking stunning.

I wish the new owner Ed many years of enjoyment out of it. I certainly had a huge amount of pride owning it.
